Burnett Dairy Cooperative Doubles Cheese End Donations for Grantsburg Area Food Shelf

Burnett Dairy Cooperative Supports Holiday Hunger Relief in Grantsburg

Grantsburg, WI — Burnett Dairy Cooperative is proud to support hunger relief efforts in the Grantsburg community through a successful cheese end donation campaign held November 15–30, 2025.

During this two-week period, Burnett Dairy Cooperative matched every pound of cheese ends purchased, resulting in a total donation of 1,500 pounds of cheese to the Grantsburg Area Food Shelf. The donation was distributed with the help of dedicated volunteers who ensured local families received much-needed food during the holiday season.

In addition to Burnett Dairy’s cheese ends, community members received Christmas hams from KJ’s Fresh Market, winter gloves from Cintas, and a variety of essential pantry items, creating a well-rounded holiday distribution for families in need.

“As a farmer-owned cooperative rooted in this community, giving back is part of who we are,” said Jamie Swan, VP of Retail Operations at Burnett Dairy Cooperative. “We are grateful to everyone who purchased cheese ends and helped make this donation possible.”

Burnett Dairy extends a heartfelt thank-you to its customers, volunteers, and local partners for coming together to support neighbors and strengthen the Grantsburg community during the holidays.
