Agricultural/Spray Applicator 🌾

Burnett Dairy Cooperative is proud to partner with local farmers by providing the products, services, and expertise they need to keep their operations thriving. As we continue to grow our Agronomy Department, we are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Agricultural Spray Applicator to join our team.

In this role, you'll operate and maintain modern, state-of-the-art application equipment while delivering exceptional service to our local farming community. Our equipment is designed with operator comfort, safety, and efficiency in mind, allowing you to focus on providing accurate and timely applications.

The ideal candidate is a certified applicator with at least two years of agricultural application experience and holds a current Minnesota or Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator License. A Class A or Class B CDL is preferred but not required.

We're looking for someone who values teamwork, is willing to lend a hand where needed, and takes pride in supporting not only our agronomy team but other departments across the cooperative. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and a commitment to helping the entire organization succeed are key to thriving in this role.

Our Bistro and Cheese Store are all about great food, great people, and great customer service. You’ll be one of the friendly faces our customers see when they visit, so bringing a positive attitude and a willingness to help is a big part of the job.

🧀 What You'll Do

Welcome and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude
Operate the cash register and accurately handle money and transactions
Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise
Help customers find their favorite cheeses, treats, and other products
Prepare and work with food products
Keep the Bistro and Cheese Store clean, organized, and sanitary
Work together with your team to keep things running smoothly
Jump in wherever you’re needed — teamwork makes the cheese work!

👋 What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

Friendly and customer-focused
Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
Comfortable using a computer and cash register
Comfortable handling money and making change
Comfortable working with food products
Able to stay organized and productive in a fast-paced environment
A team player with a positive attitude
Previous retail, food service, cashier, or Team Member experience is preferred, but a great attitude goes a long way!

💪 A Few Things to Know

This position requires:

Frequent/constant standing
Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
The ability to work well in a busy environment
Availability for days, evenings, and weekends
Shifts ranging from approximately 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

If you’re friendly, dependable, and enjoy staying busy, you’ll fit right in with our crew!

What will you be doing?
🧀 Helping customers find their new favorite cheese
🍕 Making pizzas and serving up delicious food
🍦 Scooping ice cream
🛒 Stocking shelves and coolers
💰 Running the register and helping customers check out
📦 Unloading deliveries and getting products where they belong
🏷️ Pricing products and labeling cheese
✨ Keeping the store looking great
🌙 Helping with closing duties

Basically, no two shifts are exactly the same!

We're looking for someone who:

✔️ Is 18 or older
✔️ Has a friendly, positive attitude
✔️ Loves providing great customer service
✔️ Can work nights, weekends, and closing shifts
