Recipe Description

Northwoods Cheddar takes cheese dips to the next level, especially when you add bacon & beer!

Ingredients

Preparation

Brown bacon in a medium saucepan over medium heat until crispy.

Reduce heat to low, drain grease from pan, remove half of the bacon for topping.

Add chopped garlic, cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Add cream cheese and half & half, stir until creamy.

Whisk in beer until fully incorporated.

Add ½ cup Cheddar Cheese & ½ cup Monterey Jack Cheese.

Continue to cook over low heat, stirring continuously.

When all the cheese is fully melted, pour into oven safe dish, top with remaining cheese and bacon and broil on high until cheese melts, about 3-5 minutes.

TIPS: Use a 6-inch cast iron skillet for your oven safe dish to keep the dip nice and hot for all your game day party guests!
